From the moment we walked in till we left the staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The room was spacious and the bathroom was a good size The staff never stopped working they seemed to do every role ie receptionist to waitress they just did what was needed I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a place in Elgin Just what you need for a short stay
The hotel is so convenient for the railway station and for walking into town. Our family room was spacious, clean and warm (it was late October). The staff were great and super helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, especially the full cooked option! We would definitely stay here again.
The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious, especially the hashbrowns! Their breakfast setup is a mix of buffet and made-to-order. You place an order for the hot items, which are then served to you, while the cold items are available at a self-serve buffet. The buffet includes cereal, milk, toast, yogurt, and three types of pastries.
Thank you so much to all the staff at the Royal Hotel Elgin, and especially to Carole, for helping me organise such a special Baby Shower ! The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, and everyone had a wonderful time. We especially loved the adorable watermelon baby pram — it was too cute! We’re so happy with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!
Great location near the station, excellent cooked breakfast, only issue was the radiator in the room was faulty.
Stayed here for two works on a work trip. The staff here are absolutely amazing. They made this stay incredible. Breakfast was always delicious, service was great, and staff was beyond friendly. Highly recommend.
